Beauty | My current basic make up routine

Hi there !

Every time I do my make up I use the same base products and I thought it would be nice to share those products with you :)

1. Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in Soft Beige
2. Garnier Caffeine Anti-dark circles roll on in Light
3. Maybelline Dreamlumitouch Concealer in Ivory
4. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Original
5. Bourjois Délice de Soleil bronzer in Olive/tanned skin
6. Mac blush in Blushbaby
7. Mac Mineralized Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle
8. Rimmel Stay Matte setting powder in Silky Beige
9. Catrice Brow Pencil in A Date With Ashton
10. Maybelline The Rocket Mascara in Black
11. Rosebud Lip Balm in Minted Rose

This is also the actual order in which I apply them.
So first of all I cover my entire face with the foundation and don't forget to cover your neck too ! This is my absolute favourite foundation, it has such a good amount of coverage that I don't need a lot of concealer to follow up and it leaves a nice dewy finish because of the slight shimmer in it.
Afterwards I roll a bit of the Garnier Roll on under my eyes to conceal my dark under eye circles (Oh yes, my insomnia kicked back in, woohoow !)
Then it's time to conceal active blemishes and acne scaring. I have tried a lot of different concealers this summer, only to come back to this one, my absolute favourite for years.
Time to prime those eyes ! Last winter I went to Paris and splurged on this amazing primer potion by Urban Decay. These aren't available in Belgium, so whenever I travel I try to get my hands on one of them because it is the only primer that does the job for my extremely oily eyelids.
Contouring time ! For contour I have been loving this Bourjois bronzer, it blends like a dream and smells so good. I apply this underneath my cheekbones, on my forehead, neck and nose for a more defined face. Mac's Blushbaby was a splurge from last year's trip to Berlin, I hit pan on it and will definitely repurchase it. It is the perfect natural colour for my skin tone. This one goes right onto the apples of my cheeks.
Mac's MSF in Soft and Gentle is thé most gorgeous highlighter, it gives such a nice healthy glow to my face. I apply this on my cheekbones, nose and above my eyebrows.
Afterwards I blend everything together with my favourite setting powder by Rimmel. This one keeps me shine free all day.
Then it's time for brows, because my brows are a bit sparse in some areas. I really like this eyebrow pencil by Catrice and it seems to be the right shade for me, win !
(Typically I will do my eye make up in between these two steps)
I never leave the house without mascara and I have been loving the Rocket mascara by Maybelline this summer.
Don't forget to treat your lips to some moisturiser, my favourite is this Rosebud one in Minted Rose ;) (Afterwards it is time for some lip colour !)

If you would like me to do a full review on one of these products, let me know in the comments below ! If you have any questions concerning the products, don't hesitate to ask, I'd be glad to help you out ;)

Love,
Kelly

Beauty | Haul

Hi guys ! Me and my chum Hannah went on a shopping craze again and this is the result.

Make up
Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Mascara - I needed a waterproof mascara because mascara tends to smudge on me in summer and I've been wanting to try the Scandal Eyes for a while, so there's that.
Rimmel Match Perfection foundation in Ivory - I'm out of foundation so I thought I'd give this one a try :)
Catrice Allround Concealer pallet - I knew Hannah loved this one and I've been wanting to try it for about a year I think, but everytime I wanted to get it, the store was out of it. They were finally in stock, so I thought it was a sign send by the universe that I should get it ... ;)

Hair
Garnier Ultra Doux conditioner with avocado oil and shea butter - I love the hair mask of this range and because my hair is quite damaged from going ombre, I thought it would be a good idea to get a nourishing and moisturising conditioner like this one :)
L'oréal professionnel Absolut Repair cellular serum - This serum is said to repair damaged hair ends so I thought it would be nice to treat my ends after being ombre-ed.
Kinactif hydrator nutri - This is actually a moisturising treatment for dry hair, but when I asked the girl at the shop for a detangler she recommended this one, because it makes your hair really easy to comb through apparently. I've never heard of this brand, but I thought I'd give it a try ;)

+ the Belgian magazine Flair (because they were out of Elles and I needed something to read, haha :)) and some Oral B dental floss.

I'll review a couple of these products once I used them a sufficient amount of time and if you want a specific review on one of these, don't hesitate to comment ;)

Talk to you soon !

Favorites | June

Helloooooo ! New month, new favorites, let's dig in !

The past month I have been very preoccupied with finals so I didn't get the chance to test a lot of things, so this will be a rather 'short' post ;)

Beauty
MAC All That Glitters (eyeshadow) | During revision and finals I did want to put on make up, I know that a lot of girls don't bother with make up during those periods, but I don't feel at ease without it and since I want to be really relaxed and comfy I just went ahead and came up with a very quick and easy make up look. I basically just stuck to my normal foundation and contouring routine and for eyes I chose one eyeshadow (obviously All That Glitters) and paired it with a nude eyeliner on my waterline and two coats of mascara. I love MAC eyeshadows because they are of such good quality, so they're definitely worth the extra money. Last year I treated myself to an eyeshadow pallet from MAC as a graduation present and All That Glitters is one of the eyeshadows I chose to put in there. It is a very rosy-peachy-glittery eyeshadow and looks perfect on its own. I like to put it all over my eyelid, in the inner tear duct and halfway under my bottom lashes (to make my eyes pop and to make them appear a little wider)

St.-Tropez Tanning Mousse | I am a super pale person and so I decided to get into fake tanning this summer, since I'm not really fond of laying there baking in the sun (after a terrible sunburn last year). I heard Ingrid, a.k.a. Missglamorazzi, raving about the St.-Tropez Tanning Mousse and guys, I fell in love ! This is soooo ridiculously easy ! The mousse applies flawlessly and your left with a pretty golden brown color even after having a shower. In the beginning I struggled with tanning my hands, because the bottle says that you should wash your hands thoroughly after you're done, but then my hands were left super pale. I find that it's the easiest to wash your hands properly after tanning and then apply just a normal layer on your hands afterwards and just as with the rest of your body, keep them dry for the next four hours :)

Catrice Eyebrow Pencil in A Date with Ashton | Ever since I have been into more neutral and nude make up looks, I have been loving fuller brows and this pencil really does the trick for me. It is thé perfect color for me. This is more of a dry pencil and applies very easily. A few years ago I tried to do my brows myself and ended up having too much space in between them and ruining my eyebrow shape, so now my brows are pretty sparse towards the middle part of my face. I focus on that area first, so just line the natural lines and fill that in and afterwards I lightly fill in the rest of my brows.

Fashion

Leggings | Nothing special here, I just love wearing leggings when I'm studying and my favourite one was this aztec printed one from Brandy Melville.

Lifestyle

Making 'moodboards' | As you guys know I am addicted to Tumblr and because I reblog quite a huge amount of pictures, I like to make little folders and moodboards on my computer to group them. I have a folder for inspiration on fashion, one for beauty and one for lifestyle. Check out my previous post to see my moodboard for July.

Vanilla Ice Cream | My favorite snack this month has been vanilla ice cream with or without sprinkles, hihi ^^ When it comes to ice cream I don't like to eat very exotic flavors and mostly opt for just the plain vanilla one, delicious as it is.

These are my favorites for June ! Hope you liked it ;)
