I have missed quite a few lifestyle posts this month and I thought it would be nice to have kind of a lifestyle themed week because of that.

Fashion | Inspiration - Dresses

It's that time of the year again ! Weather is getting slightly warmer and sunnier and I am already dreaming about summer, heat and breezy dresses.

During winter I don't really wear a lot of dresses and skirts, because I get cold very quickly and I absolutely hate being cold. But as spring is setting in, I am getting super excited about wearing dresses again ! Right now I still have to layer them, but I kinda of like that too, so yay layering !

I am really liking these more retro-ish dresses with a cute little collar or the more shirt-like ones with very straight lines, as you can witness here above.

Are you guys getting excited for spring already? I am !

Beauty | Inspiration - Hair- Half updo's

No matter what hairtype you have, one way or the other them hairs are going to get in your way. When I'm at school, taking notes in class, I can't have my hair being all over the place. And while I do love ponytails and buns, sometimes I just want to keep my hair down, BUT out of my freaking way ;) I have found myself going towards half updo's on those kind of days and I'm kind of really liking it ! My face is hair free, but I still have the effect of having my hair down.

Right now I'm just clipping away my locks whit a nice hairclip, but I want to give these more special updo's as seen here above a try, being a bit more glamorous and shiz.

If your looking for a good tutorial on a half updo, Zoella recently posted one on here YouTube channel. It's a very pretty and simple updo, it won't take you that much time before leaving for school. I'm going to give this one a try some time soon ;)

Fashion | Inspiration - Minimalistic Jewellery

While last year I was all over edgy jewellery with a twist, this year minimalstic is my way to go. 

I'm really into clean and subtle designs. Straight lines, simple materials, delicate, ... 

Although I find myself wearing a lot less jewellery than last year, I do still like the sight of a pretty pair of earrings combined with a messy updo or a gorgeous ring combined with a casual outfit. 

Right now, I'm looking for some pretty new rings and some earrings but I'm also on the hunt for some bracelets. What does bother me with these minimalistic design bracelets, is that they aren't that comfortable most of the time and for me that's one of the main points on which to judge clothing/accesories ... So I might post an update soon on what kind of bracelets make a good alternative.

Here are the moodboard and quote for March !

I chose this quote because it seemed to inspire me. I am not the most confident of people and always seem to think that this or that could use some improvement in my life. Lately I've been thinking "Hey, why not just improve what needs to be. It's never too late to change something." So that's what I've been trying to do. 

Unfortunately I did catch a terrible cold, so not much interesting going on here, just me sipping tea, taking meds and hoping this cold will pass soon. Oh well ...

Lifestyle | Skate - Pennylove

It's time to break it to you guys, I'm not your average kind of girl, I'm sort of a tomboyish geek ... Think skating, Pokémon, Marvel, Adventure Time, ... Recently I have been rediscovering this side of myself and I am having such a great time. I thought it would be nice to share this side of me with you guys too. So first of ... skating.

Ever since I was little I have been the most clumsy person you will ever come across and that's the reason why my parents didn't really trust me alone around a skateboard. I did always like skateboards though and admired people skilled to stay straight up on those things. Roughly 10 years later, I finally got a skateboard for my birthday ! And it's not an average skateboard, it is a PENNYBOARD !

Pennyboards are these very small skateboards that are super easy to take with you everywhere you go. They come in all sorts of colours and you can even custom build on to your liking. I got a limited edition one for my birthday, a purple one with red weels and an aztec printed back, as you can see in the last picture. I love the living *peep* out of it, but I still need to learn how to properly "cruise" on it. My plan is to ride my Penny from the train station to school every day. But first I need to practice a little more in my safe own street ;)
