Fashion | Haul - My new Persol glasses

A few weeks ago I noticed that I couldn't read the powerpoints in class as good as I used to be able to read them, so I made an appointment at the eye doctor. Turns out that I need a small correction on both eyes to let them rest once in a while. I have always been a huge lover of glasses and a few months ago I posted an inspiration post dedicated to my love for them and which type of glasses I was eyeing (hehe, glasses - eyeing, I'm a genius). And now, I finally got to pick out real ones !
I downloaded the pictures in that particular post to give the people at the store somewhat of an idea of what I wanted and ended up with this Persol one. I love them to pieces and they are exactly what I was looking for !
Persol is an Italian brand and all their frames are handmade. Now don't start panicking about the price because of the handmade thing, because they are quite well priced for frames. I (well, my mommy) paid €180 for these ones, so I think that's quite a fair price for such a beautiful design. The thing that I love about these frames is the very bold print and the slight cat eye shape, not too plain but not too bold, perfect balance :)

Well, do you like them on me? ;)

Love,
K.

Monthly | It's May !

So here I am again with yet another moodboard and quote ! :)
A little explanation as regards the quote : I have always been jealous of people who are self confident. I have always been a doubter and a very insecure person, other people always seem to do everything way better than me (at least in my eyes). I envy people who trust their gut and follow their intuition without any doubt before or regret afterwards. There hides a lot of fear in me, fear of the unknown, fear of not doing it right, fear of judgements, fear of a lot of things, but along the way I learned to let go of a lot of those. I am trying to be more self confident and trust my gut for the full 100%, but there's still a long way to go ... However, in recent events I have noticed quite clearly that whenever I start to think too much, I kind of make the wrong decision, or more something like, my spontaneous decisions are most of the time the best ones and those are the ones coming from my gut. A good example of a gut decision was the evening when I send my boyfriend the very first text ever between us, I stepped out of my comfort zone big time by making a decision as spontaneous and gut oriented and I can tell you, it was the best decision I have ever made ;)

To gut feelings/decisions !
Love,
K.
