Lifestyle | Monthly Goals - February

Well hi there !
It's been quite a while since I've done one of these posts, but I thought it would be nice to pick them up again.

So my five goals for the month of February and I will report back at the beginning of the next month.

1. Try to enjoy a maximum of every single moment
2. Find a good rhythm for school/free time
3. Get enough sleep
4. Drink enough water
5. Don't do a trillion things at a time, do one thing and do it with dedication

That's it, my goals for the rest of the month !
What are your goals?

Love,
Kelly

Lifestyle | Monthly Goals - October

It is time to recap on September's goals and tell you all about my goals for october/the whole academical year.

So last month's goals :

1. Continue eating healthy.
I've been a good girl this month, eating healthy and taking my home made lunch to school :) I did actually went for fast food one time this week, but oh well, just once in a while isn't that bad ! My current eating routine makes me really happy and is actually all about eating smaller portions several times a day. It does the trick for me, because I'm happy with my body shape again :)

2. Get into a good exercise routine.
I've been a good girl in terms of exercise too ! My current exercise routine includes swimming, yoga and my weekend job (like seriously, this counts as a workout too !) On Monday I go swimming for about an hour and on Wednesday I have a one hour yoga class scheduled. I love these kinds of sports ! With swimming I don't feel sweaty afterwards which is a big win, it's very fresh and clean feeling plus it helps me to wind down at the end of the day. The kind of yoga class I attend is power yoga, which is basically toning your muscles while relaxing. Once again, after class I feel so relaxed and energized, it works wonders. I can tell you, at the end of the week I can definitely feel that I've been exercising more haha !

3. Be more concious with money.
I'm getting better and better at this ! Ever since I got a weekend job, I've been super concious about money. (Like my motivation to get up and go to work is seriously "Think of all the lipsticks and nail polishes you could buy !) I haven't been shopping in a while (not counting empty products that needed to be replaced...) and I think I'm going to treat myself very soon to a concious shopping trip in Brussels (If I manage to find some spare time in my busy busy schedule !)

4. Try to enjoy the last bits of summer, try not to worry too much !
I did enjoy my last weeks of summer so much ! I went on a trip to Barcelona and this was the ideal way to enjoy the last week before school to the fullest. We had an amazing time and when we came back, I felt completely ready to go back to uni !

5. Make sure you are well rested and prepared before school starts.
I was very well rested and prepared when school started three weeks ago, unfortunately right now I'm super tired and going on not that much sleep ... I have so much on my schedule these days and when it comes to choosing between doing less of the things I love or sleeping less ... sleeping loses ... I've been really busy for school (a lot of deadlines this semester), working weekends in a restaurant to earn some money, exercising, keeping up with vlogs and blogs, hanging out with friends and family ... it has been quite a month !

And then these are my goals for October (and actually for the entire academical year) !
1. Make a good schedule for school work and keep it up !
2. Be yourself; no matter what, where, when or whom.
3. Don't go shopping after class ! (Did that way too much last year)
4. Eat healthy, stay away from the vending machines !
5. Enjoy every moment of being a student !
6. Blog, blog, blog !

What are your goals for October?

Kelly

Lifestyle | Monthly goals - September

As promised here I am to check in with you guys on my goals for August and to share my goals for September ;)

1. Start eating healthy again.
I think I managed this one quite well :) I lost the weight I wanted to lose and seem to have found a healthy and balanced diet. When I say healthy, I mean my own terms of healthy; don't think I gave up my Nutella for good (I could never do that !) I managed to say no to fast food for almost the whole month, where I would normally cave immediately if someone asked me.

2. Get into a good exercise routine.
This one was a lot more difficult. The swimming pool in our neighbourhood was closed and yoga class didn't start until September. So I pretty much didn't exercise except for my daily 100 sit ups. Something to work on next month !

3. Be more concious with money.
I can't quite say that I did a very good job last month. I went on quite a big number of shopping trips and spent quite the amount of money. (Hey, I needed some fall clothes ! ;)) I downloaded an app for my phone that allows me to track all of my finances and I noticed that this really keeps me concious of what I'm spending. But this one does still needs a lot of work !

4. Set up good schedules and routines to keep on track with my life.
This one worked out perfectly. I set up a schedule for my beauty routine, one for my blog, one for my social media checkings and one for my vlog/blog addiction. I am so much more relaxed when I have a schedule to hold on to, so part of the restlessness already left my mind :) But uni is just around the corner, so that's another schedule that will need to be set up.

5. Go to bed at a sensible hour.
Failed ! These last few weeks I didn't need to get up early, so I kind of allowed myself to stay up late browsing the internet and checking my phone, because I was able to sleep in anyways. This one will come back when uni kicks back in, because falling asleep in class is a no go !

My goals for september !
1. Continue eating healthy.
2. Get into a good exercise routine.
3. Be more concious with money.
4. Try to enjoy the last bits of summer, try not to worry too much !
5. Make sure you are well rested and prepared before school starts.

I will probably check in with you guys on these ones before I go back to uni and share my goals for the upcoming year of school a bit before the end of next month ;)

What are your goals for September?

Kelly

Lifestyle | Monthly goals - August

Hi lovelies !

I saw this type of post over on another blog and really wanted to give it a try :)
Basically at the beginning of a new month I'll be sharing my goals with you and recapping how I did on achieving the previous goals. I am the type of person that loves making lists (I downloaded Wunderlist for my phone and it is exploding, haha !) and I think sharing these with you will make me even more motivated to achieve them ;)

So here are my goals for August !

1. Start eating healthy again.
2. Get into a good exercise routine.
3. Be more concious with money.
4. Set up good schedules and routines to keep on track with my life.
5. Go to bed at a sensible hour.

There was a time when I was super concious about what I ate and drank and when I was so good on track with exercising and keeping my weight balanced, but then college happened ! I've gained quite a few kilos and I would very much like to get rid of them, but that's not the only reason to start eating healthy again. I feel so much better physically and emotionally when I maintain a healthy lifestyle, so that's kind of a big reason too.
I've had quite some summer jobs the past months and I'm proud to have gained a good amount of money. I bought something that I've been wanting for years and now it's time to start getting more concious when spending my money. (Because normally I spend everything I gained over the summer in only two months ... auwtch !)
I am a girl that needs a lot of structure and control to be happy and to be at ease, but then again college happened. I've lost track of all my routines and recently came to the conclusion that this was one of the reasons why I felt like everything was happening out of my control. (Being the major control freak that I am, you can imagine that this was horrible to me) So time to get those routines going once again !
I realised that I need much more sleep than I used to need and going to bed at 2 a.m. and waking up at 8 a.m. doesn't quite do the trick for me any more. Going to bed earlier it is !

Share your goals in the comments below or tag your post with the tag : Monthly Goals ;) We can motivate each other to achieve our goals

Kelly
