Fashion | New Boots

I bought me some new boots !

Last year I showed you the boots I bought at the beginning of autumn and to be honest, I've worn those to pieces. They look absolutely wrecked right now, but I still wear them and tell people I have the messy look going on (shhhht !) But an update was desperately needed and so I headed into the city and hunted for boots.
I stumbled upon these and didn't even bother to look any further. I've been eyeing this style of boot for a while, originally I wanted to go for black leather, but seeing these in a more cognac coloured leather changed my mind. I'm crazy for cognac leather ... oops !
These look really good with skinny jeans or leggings tucked in and just a light t-shirt on top or even with a dress or skirt, they can do no wrong basically.
They're from the brand Kanna and cost about €100 (give or take a bit), which is quite expensive but these look like they will actually last me longer then one year. I look at it as a kind of investment ... ;)

Fashion | New shoes !

Hi there !

In a previous post I told you all about the types of boots I was eyeing for fall/winter and actually didn't mention the laced up ankle boots. Well guess what I bought yesterday? ;)

When I headed into town last week I saw such a cute pair of brown leather laced up boots, but they were super expensive so I decided to wait, thinking I'd maybe stumble upon a pair of less expensive similar boots. I got a little financial help from my godmother and so I decided to head into town yesterday to go and buy them ! BUT unfortunately they were out of my size --'

I remembered that last week there was another pair of boots that caught my eye, so I rushed to that store, tried them on and fell in love, haha :)

These are actually part of the Flair (a Belgian woman's magazine) collection and were about €89. I did wear a skirt on purpose yesterday because I wanted to see how they would look with one of my staple fall outfits. It looked perfect and now, I can't wait to start wearing them to pieces !
I'll be wearing these a lot with skirts, dresses, skinny jeans and leggings (So pretty much with my whole wardrobe ... ;))

Fashion | Inspiration - Boots

Hi there !

Yeah, another fall inspired post ! Fall/Winter without boots is like a make up bag without foundation, if you get what I'm saying ;)

This time every year I buy myself a new pair of boots and will wear them all throughout fall/winter until they completely fall apart. Most of the time I'll opt for leather boots, because obviously it's a very warm and strong material. I always choose a pair with at least a kitten heel, because I'm quite short and thus need my heels :)

For this fall/winter I have quite a few options to narrow down to one perfect pair ! I love the kind of horse riding boots with a short heel (Second picture), they were all over the place last year and I never got around to buying a pair. The second style that caught my eye are the wedged booties (Fourth picture) with laces, I've never owned a pair of wedges, but they are claimed to be super comfy so maybe I'll try them out this year. The third style that I'm eyeballing this year are the studded boots (Sixth picture) a bit more edgy and though, but still kinda classy !

What kind of boots are you guys looking out for this fall/winter season?
